Cristina Ottaviano specializes in high-end evening wear, ready to wear and bridal. Unpaid but school credit offered.
Requirements:Hardworking, reliable, eager to learn. Fashion design majors.
Basic hand-sewing knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities:Basic hand-sewing knowledge a plus.
The tasks include assistance in the following areas: Handsewing, creating prints and embroideries, researching inspiration, market research, assist in model fittings and appointments, overseeing garment lends and returns, work with design team to create boards and collection, sketching, work with sample room, source materials in garment district, Patternmaking, organize fabrics and oversee embroidery archives.
