Creative Threads Fashion Studio is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Sewing Instructor Assistant Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of sewing instruction while assisting our skilled instructors in delivering high-quality classes to our diverse student base. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in sewing, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a creative environment.
Passion for sewing and a basic understanding of sewing techniques and equipment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students and instructors. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in teaching or assisting with sewing classes is a plus but not required.
Support sewing instructors during classes by setting up equipment, preparing materials, and providing assistance to students as needed. Demonstrate basic sewing techniques and assist students in practicing various stitches, patterns, and garment construction methods. Assist with administrative tasks such as tracking attendance and communicating with parents and students interested in classes and upcoming events. Collaborate with instructors and fellow interns on creative projects, such as designing new patterns or organizing sewing-related events. Assist in creating content for social media and marketing.
This internship is unpaid.
