Conti Communications is looking for a part or full-time public relations intern for Fall/Winter 2019 (adjust accordingly). Conti Communications is a PR and strategic communications consultancy firm based in New York, USA. Our clients span across the fashion, beauty and luxury sectors in both the United States and Europe.
The ideal candidate is driven, extremely detail-oriented, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. French speaking/proficiency is a plus, but not required. Previous PR experience is strongly preferred, but not a must. Applicants must be able to work with autonomy once a task has been assigned, as some work may be assigned for them to complete remotely.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Press coverage reporting, tracking, and logging for all clients
- Updating and maintaining VIP, influencer, editor, and press contact list databases
- Sample trafficking and inventory management
- Contact and media value research for social media, digital and print placements
- Coordinating gifting initiatives per client
- Aiding in weekly reporting on completed initiatives, loans, executed gifting, and ongoing targets
- Preparing agendas, sending calendar invites and keeping minutes for all internal meetings
- Maintaining showroom cleanliness and merchandising
