Black Dog 8 is looking for Summer 2021 Internship at Menswear Showroom
Reputable multi-brand menswear showroom (www.blackdog8.com) is seeking candidates with interest in videography, graphic design, navigation of digital showroom platforms and the general business of fashion. Great opportunity for candidates looking to gain practical work experience in the wholesale/buying sectors. Daily expenses are covered: $35 per day for food and transportation.
Candidates should commit to 3 days per week.
Approximate time frames: End June to end of September.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
High interest in the Fashion industry.
As a result of Covid-19, Showrooms will be conducting a combined virtual/digital and in person sales season. We seek candidates interested in learning new business formats to be ready for a changing industry.
• Visual merchandising to maintain excellent showroom appearance
• Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to: order input, buying selection follow ups, sample inventory and general admin efficiency
• Support and coordinate social media
• Assist with video buying appointments and follow up on digital presentation tools
• Photoshop knowledge and other editing programs preferred
This internship is unpaid.
