Bibhu Mohapatra is looking for Production Intern
Luxury women’s ready to wear fashion brand is seeking a full/part-time Production Intern (3-5 days per week) to start immediately.
Applicants must:
- Have production or relevant experience
- Be independent and a team player
- Be detailed oriented, highly motivated, proactive, and possess the ability to meet tight
deadlines
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have exceptional organizational skills
- Have basic understanding of garment construction
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Attending production fittings, and noting fit comments
- Communicate daily with domestic and overseas vendors to track development and
production status
- Follow-up with factories in the garment district, to ensure that production samples are
executed correctly and timely
- Quality checking garments
- Sourcing fabrics and trims
- Help maintain and organize office space
