Badgley Mischka is an American luxury fashion label designed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka, specializing in Women's evening wear. This opportunity allows students to work closely with our production department and specifically learn more about technical design for wovens and knits across multiple lines that are fit in-house.
Requirements:Must be a student in a full-time academic program, this internship is for university credit only. We require applicant to be pursuing a degree in Design or Production: must have broad knowledge of sewing skills, pattern making, and textiles. Overall candidate must have good organization skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:• Sit in on weekly fittings with the production team, helping prep and execute these fittings as needed.
• Create spec sheets and tech packs for current collections, helping measure and quality control the samples when necessary.
• Log and keep track of samples as they go through production fit phases.
• Help with packing and inventory control to meet shipment deadlines.
