Argent is looking for Fashion Production & Design Intern

Argent is a direct-to-consumer women’s workwear brand with a growing footprint, including showrooms and retail pop-up ups in NYC and SF, as well as a busy event calendar. We’re looking for energetic individuals who are excited to help Argent grow as a brand and to work closely with our team in NYC.
Requirements:Internship may be completed for college credit if desired, or as a paid internship. You should be available at least two full days per week for a 3 month duration. Intern will be provided with an unlimited Metrocard for transportation. Previous fashion design or production internship experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Sort and allocate trims and materials for local factories
• Assist in issuing cut tickets for both sampling and bulk
• Measure garments and complete spec sheets for PPs and TOPs
• Work closely with local factories and vendors
• Assist with quality control inspections and packing of garments
• Source trims, fabrics and notions
• Assist with business operations including order fulfillment and inventory management for our new retail location
• Maintain a clean and organized office and showroom
• Work one-on-won with Design and Production leads
• Special projects designed with Intern's interests and talents in mind
