This internship is unpaid.
Allegra Vintij is a vintage boutique curated with pre-loved vintage clothing for men and women. We carry a range of decades from the 1950s through the 2000s with a wide range of product assortment. We are currently looking for an Intern to work out of our Brooklyn showroom to learn and grow with the company. Working in a showroom is an essential learning experience in the fashion industry and is a great entry-level learning experience!
Requirements:Must be a current student or just graduated from university or trade school. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to commute to the showroom every day the internship takes place. Must be fluent in English.
Responsibilities:Showroom Intern Daily Functions:
* Unpack all of the collection from the past weekend of flea markets and pop-up events, and unpack them.
* Re-merchandise the showroom and learn about colors and themes.
* Steam all merchandise so the showroom is readily presentable for clients.
* Put all accessories back in their designated locations.
* Check merchandise for damages and damage out items.
* Steam new items and help streamline inventory management in our database.
* Restock essential showroom items; totes, waters, business cards.
* Help strategize and create logistical plans for events in the showroom.
* Assist at weekend events (if applicable).
This is an unpaid internship. You will be compensated for transportation.
