Alivia is looking for Social Media / PR / Marketing Intern
Alivia makes radiant clothing inspired by the artistic expressions of people with developmental disabilities. Every collection begins by transforming the artwork of young creators with autism into bold prints and embroidery across elevated silhouettes. Alivia gives purpose and voice to the previously unheard, showcasing the many talents of people with disabilities — and pushing the fashion industry further towards inclusivity.
Alivia launched April 2020 and we are looking for an amazing intern to join our growing team this Summer! This intern will be exposed to all areas of the fashion industry, and have the opportunity to participate and contribute to meaningful work within a mission driven brand. Due to covid, intern is able to work remotely with daily video communication. School credit OR daily stipend of $15/day is offered.
Proficient in all social media. Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of influencers and celebrities. Previous experience in Fashion Public Relations / Social Media is preferred. Can commit to at least 3 days a week for minimum of 3 months (working remotely is okay). Must have up to date computer skills, including Microsoft / Google Suite (bonus if you can use illustrator/photoshop). Have a positive attitude and be a team player. Detail-oriented, hardworking, and organized. Passionate about the fashion industry and Alivia’s mission. MUST have a fun, outgoing, driven personality!
Assist with media / influencer outreach. Assist with developing detailed marketing plans. Perform market research. Assist in social media planning and activities. Assist in various admin duties as needed.
This internship is unpaid.
