Alice & Trixie is looking for Design Intern
Alice & Trixie is a contemporary women's wear company designing and manufacturing everything in New York. Located in the garment center, we are seeking talented design students to assist our design team for a full or part time internship year round.
- self motivated with the ability to multi task and work with minimal supervision
- knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- knowledge of apparel design with basic flat sketching skills
- strong communication and organizational skills
- must be professional and have good work ethic
- candidates must have a positive & enthusiastic attitude
Responsibilities
Candidates will be working closely with the design team assisting and helping coordinate & execute multiple tasks at once. Including research, sketching, sourcing etc. You will be taking ownership of the studio which includes keeping samples, swatches and fabrics organized and tidy. This is a hands-on role and an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain valuable experience in the fashion industry.
