Adam Lippes, LLC is looking for Production Internship
Adam Lippes is looking for talented, motivated students to assist the Production team in our Nomad studio in NYC. Our interns gain hands on experience by providing support to the Production team through visiting factories, assisting in fittings, and various organizational projects and paperwork. Interns benefit from a small, close-knit working environment by viewing all aspects of the brand, as both development and production are done in NYC's garment district, a 10 minute subway ride from the studio.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and initiative are key. Both full-time and part-time internships offered. Must currently live in the NYC area. A working knowledge of sewing and pattern-making is highly preferred. Applicants with a background in fashion will be considered.
-Visiting Factories
-Sourcing and distributing trims
-Communicating with local vendors and factories regarding pre-production samples and production flow.
-Assisting during fittings
-Tracking trim development and delivery
-Organizing and maintaining the production office
-General assistance around the office
-Assisting checking patterns
This internship is unpaid, school credit is offered.
